flashlight,AA,AAA,C,D,9V plus all of the weird ones like the AAAA,6 volt lantern,odd-shaped ones and even that little goofy one that goes into collector clocks. |
(All Terrain Vehicle) same as MOTORCYCLE. Note the battery part number and voltage. Check your terminal polarity and shape with the photos |
Maintenance Free, maintenance possible, impossible, these are your CAR batteries. Not available to ship in just one or two quantities if you live away from our stores, but if you live in say, Anchorage,AK or way out in the boonies, then, yes we will be happy to quote you for shipping them to you from a supplier that is close to you. |
incudes,hydrometers,hold-down devices, different terminals, cables, sprays, trays, testers, goofy little hard to find nuts or bolts, basically anything that has to do with a battery. Kind of a hodge-podge. |
|
Big 8D and 4D sizes to smaller Group 24,27,30H sizes. We stock and sell plastic (and some aluminum) ones with very nice hold-down devices as well as the basic ones. Lawn mower U1 types, 2 or 4 golf cart battery types, J250 sizes, you name it: if they make a battery box, you'll find it here. |
Read about batteries, charging systems, solar home applications, wind generators, and even a few training videos about batteries. We are no Amazon.com but we have our favorites selected for specific learning. |
Someone may have given you one of these Booster Packs or Jumpstart Boxes that you might have in the back of your truck or car. Every year or two, depending on when you remembered to charge them, you'll need to replace it's sealed lead acid battery. We sell all of the replacement batteries that fit these but you'll need to open the box yourself and note the voltage and amp/hour capacity of the battery. Then Click Here. |
these are becoming pretty close in design so this will take you to the most popular Lithium-Ion batteries that we stock. We can order just about anything if you tell us the Make and Model of your camera as well as the Voltage and Amp/Hour capacity (usually listed in milli-ampere hours, or Mah). Knowing these 4 things will help us to get you the right battery. |
Hoo Boy, this could be way too big of a category if you are looking for anything but the portable (cig lighter) charger or leather case. We do have some pretty cool wall chargers with adapters that should fit your phone. We do stock and sell some of the Blue Tooth devices, but those are moving targets for us. If you don't see it, just ask! |
Yes, we are good at this. Old ones, newer ones, forgotten ones, we sell a lot of these batteries: mostly Lithium-Ion types now for very competitive pricing. |
Called this because of their shape, these flat, round cells are usually non-rechargeable, Lithium, Manganese Dioxide, Alkaline, or Silver Oxide. They vary in voltage and capacity and use a CR or BR designation on some, others have a 3 digit number. Obviously, these batteries cost a LOT LESS if you order them in bulk (in trays within a small box) rather than individually packaged. There are many brands that are available to us but we stock Eveready because the quality is consistent. If you need better pricing for larger quantities, just ask su for that. |
Hmmmm. If you are thinking of the bigger, wet, lead acid batteries that go in big trucks, bulldozers, big boats, big "house batteries" like 8D's, 4D's, and Group 31's, then this is your section. If you are thinking of the ironclad, forklift types, then you'll need to look at Forklift Batteries below. |
These are internal dekstop batteries and aftermarket laptop batteries. The laptop batteries are built to the same or better than the Original Equipment specifications. Find your computer Make and Model first, then confirm it with the Voltage, Chemistry and Milli-ampere Hour Capacity (Mah). Yes, we also sell some Laptop Chargers see below. |
These plug into the wall and convert AC power to DC power. No, they are not Inverters (inverters turn DC to AC). Now that you know that, you can also call these Power Supplies because they basically do the same. These are rated by AC input Voltage, DC output Voltage and by Amperage. Some fo them have fixed DC output and some have variaable output making them OK for charging batteries such as those in portable tools. The only problem with using a Converter or Power Supply for a charger is that they don't know when to shut off and will overcharge a battery. Have a look at these that we stock. We also can find other variations on the output Voltage and Amperage if you don't see a match for your application. |
Use our Vendor's Wizard [Click Here] to find the phone battery that you need by looking up your Make and Model first. The battery number is usually not helpful because they are proprietary. When you find your battery note the Part Number so you can find it here on our site. We stock and sell almost any combination of these batteries. Some are Ni-Cad while others (the newer ones) are mostly Ni-MH. |
These packs are made when we use an electrode welder to build voltage and/or capacity to a battery by welding (with a $5000 welder) batteries in series and/or parallel configuration. We assemble the packs using Rechargeable Cylindrical batteries that are the commercial style. If you can figure out what cells you have and how many there are in the battery, then call us 800-326-7406 for an estimate for building your battery pack. |
(not Cyclone) SLA (sealed lead acid): these are 2volt cells that are basically a rechargeable Gates brand battery that comes in sizes like the D (you know this one from flashlights) to the F,G and on down the alphabet to the X and Y cells that are pretty huge. The bigger the cell, the more capacity these have. The voltage, however, remains at 2volts. These are often soldered in series in a pack to be used for a common battery voltage such as 6 or 12 volts, as you might find in a backup lighting system, or a even in a weird wihte box that contains 6 cells to power an electric lawn mower. |
most of these, if not proprietary like the Invisible Fence brand, are made up of several coin cell batteries in series (not parallel) to build enough voltage to zap the dog that needs restraining. Higher the voltage=tougher the dog! We can build some of these, others we buy from the aftermarket. |
same as the Marine/RV batteries if you are thinking of wet lead acid batteries. If you are thinking of Sealed Lead Acid batteries, then you'll need to go there. |
same as Sealed Lead Acid batteries OR you may find them in the Cyclon/Gates area if they are cylindrical. Note the Voltage and Ampere/Hour capacity of your batteries and the terminal size. |
we carry a large selection of flashlights. Heavy Duty Rechargeables for Emergency Service Personnel to headlights and penlights. Of course we carry the non-rechargeable batteries (for example; alkaline) and the rechargeable batteries for specific models. |
These babies are BIG and wrapped in iron casing. They often weigh 1000 to 3500 lbs and are the main power source and counterbalance for forklifts. They generally will be sized by a series of 3 number sets: ie 12-17-135. The first number tells us how many cells there are in the battery (X 2 volts per cell is your battery's nominal voltage), the second set tells us the number of negative plates the battery has, and the
third one is the Ampere/Hour rating of the battery. Even though you may have those 3 sets of numbers, we will still need to know the overall dimensions, whether there is a metal lid to the battery and on which side the cables exit the battery (need a diagram of how it is positioned in the lift truck). We can give you a price if you will tell us the destination address. Sorry, USA sales only (including AK and HI, and VI, PR, and Guam). Ok, Canada too but that's it...unless
you can figure out the shipping, duties and pay us first... call us at 800-326-7406 |
Most of the time, these are pretty simple, but check the location of the positive terminal. 85% of them have a the positive terminal on the left side as it is away from you: this might make it a U1-L. If it's on the right, then it's a U1-R. If you battery is a different type, [CLICK HERE] to look it up by Battery No. or Manufacturer and Model. |
Gelled electrolyte is not as popular as the AGM(Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries that started to take hold in the mid-90's. Many folks confuse AGM and Gelled Electrolyte (Gell Cell is actually a brand name) batteries but they are different. Generally, Gelled Electrolyte batteries do very well in deep discharge applicaitons (like a Kangaroo Kaddy) but they don't have as many cycles as an AGM. The AGM's are
designed to cycle but they last longer if you don't cycle them as deeply as a Gelled Electrolyte battery. |
These are pretty straightforward. We have even better pricing if you can buy these by the box. We hear (sorry about the pun) that our Energizer batteries last about 1/3 longer than most minor brands. |
these measure the specific gravity of the battery electrolyte. This tells you the ratio of acid to water in a cell. Coincidently, the numbers on a hydrometer usually match the approximate voltage of a 12 volt battery
(if you ignore the decimal point). A 1.265s.g. acid reading indicates a fully charged battery. A reading of 1.100 reads "water" on the hydrometer and 11 volts is usually an indicator of a dead, at rest battery. Pretty cool, huh? |
3 types: Simple, Inverter-Chargers, and Sine-Wave. All inverters change DC power (batteries that is) into AC. Simple inverters only invert and have no battery charger feature. These simple inverters must have all plug in devices come to the unit as there is no way to connect to a subpanel circuit breaker box. This may mean that you'll need
to have extension cords running to it if the unit isn't close enough to the powered device. Inverter-Chargers can charge batteries and invert DC power to AC power, BUT NOT AT THE SAME TIME. Sine-Wave inverters produce a true, no modified, sine wave which is great for rheostats, some flourescent fixtures and most power supply chargers (desktop chargers for cell phones, tools, radios, etc). |
Note the battery part number and voltage. Check your terminal polarity and shape with the photos. |
Same as Booster Packs. These are the sealed lead acid batteries that go into the portable booster packs. You'll need to open the box and note the voltage and ampere/hour capacity of the battery(ies) inside. There is no cross reference book that lists make or model of these Booster Pack/Jump Start Boxes. Then Click Here. |
Yes, we also sell some Laptop Chargers see below. |
a variety of different types of metes to detect AC or DC battery or charging system voltage. There's a whole world of meters that can tell you anything about electricity, battery state of charge, ampere hours used, some are backlist, some not...If you don't see the type of meter, or brand that you need, just ask. |
We have Conventional style (for older models), Maintenance Free, or Absorbed Glass Mat batteries. Note the battery part number and voltage. Check your terminal polarity and shape with the photos. |
